Founded in Catania, Italy, in 2015, AGEA was built on a singular commitment: to deliver excellence in subsea services. Our founders brought together decades of offshore expertise with a vision to set new standards in marine surveys. This commitment to excellence was immediately proven when we successfully executed 21 complex offshore projects in our first year. Today, AGEA’s reputation for operational efficiency continues to grow. From advanced geophysical surveys, sophisticated positioning services to comprehensive site characterization, we consistently deliver excellence across every project. Our dynamic team combines deep industry knowledge with innovative solutions, ensuring superior results in challenging offshore environments worldwide.
Our team provides Positioning and Survey Services utilizing a combination of in-house and hired equipment with competent highly motivated personnel. Through frame agreements with several suppliers, Agea ensures that the best and latest technology equipment is utilized on all worksites. Our company is totally customer focused and we are able to deliver the best in class services.

Agea delivered comprehensive support to UXO survey services for Romania’s flagship offshore gas field development in the Black Sea sector. Operating across dual reservoir development spanning from nearshore to 1,000-metre water depth, we provided critical unexploded ordnance detection and clearance support for subsea infrastructure installation across Domino and Pelican South fields.

Raia Project
In 2025, Agea supported shallow water survey services for the RAIA Gas Export Pipeline
development in Brazil's Campos Basin. Supporting the field development for Seat, Gávea, and Pão
de Açúcar reservoirs, we provided comprehensive survey operations from HDD exit through final
as-laid documentation in 8-36 metre water depths.
